The English Steps Course
A typical timetable for the English course would be:
9:00 - 10:15 Lesson 1
10:30 - 11:45 Lesson 2
12:00 - 13:00 Lesson 3
13:00 - 14:30 Lunchtime speaking English with other students and teachers.
15:00 - 18:00 Practical English practice and work experience with a voluntary ` ` organisation, or a trip to a local museum with an English teacher.
18:00 - 20:00 Dinner speaking English with other students and a teacher
20:00 onwards Free time
Remember - only the morning classes are obligatory. The rest of the day is your free time but we will organise things for you so that, if you like, you can see the local area and continue to practise your English with us.
We have a maximum of 4 students per class, and we only teach the things that you would like to learn. We can offer business courses, general English, and more specific courses such as ILEC Legal English exam preparation. Extra 1-1 classes are also available.
Living with a qualified English teacher, you will be able to practise your English from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. You will also be living with other students who are studying English.
At the weekend you are free to explore different cities, look for a job, or just stay in the house and relax in Leeds.
